Customer Feedback

Why we do not publish customer testimonials or installer ratings, and what we do with the feedback people give us.

We do not publish testimonials or installer ratings, and that is a deliberate decision rather than an omission.

Why not

UK law changed in April 2025. Alongside banning fake reviews outright, it puts a positive duty on a business to take reasonable steps to stop misleading reviews appearing on its site. That is an ongoing moderation commitment, not a page you publish once.

We would rather not run reviews at all than run them badly. When we do publish anything of this kind, it will be because we have someone owning it properly.

You will also not find reviews from another country presented as though they were UK customers, which is a thing some comparison sites do.

What we do with your feedback

We ask people who have used the service how it went, and we ask the installers too. It goes into deciding which installers keep receiving enquiries.

If your experience with an installer was poor, tell us. We cannot undo work that has been done, but we do act on it, and an installer that generates repeated complaints stops getting enquiries from us.

What we can and cannot do

We can pass your feedback to the installer, stop sending you further contact, and take the installer’s record into account.

We cannot resolve a dispute about an installation, because we were not a party to it. Your contract is with the installer, not with us.

If you cannot resolve something with the installer directly, ask them what their complaints procedure is and who handles it if you are not satisfied. Any reputable installer will have an answer.
